Auto Assign rooms with Channel Manager
If you currently have your PMS rooms set to auto assign at time of booking and are on the Channel Manager you may run into issues with split room inventory. Channel OTA's do not have the ability to determine if a room is available for consecutive nights. If a room gets booked for 3 nights, it is not determined whether all 3 nights are in the same room.

If you have the auto-assign rooms settings turned on, you may have to split the room into 2 separate rooms to accommodate the guest. If this becomes an issue during your high season we recommend that you either turn off the auto assign and assign the rooms manually at check-in or limit your inventory on these channels to avoid split room bookings.
